As many of you know, I was the lead singer in the Donnybrooks. Here's a picture of us in the early days. That's John Alterio, Frank Trebel,Ken Paige, and me dressed for a performance. My music teacher at South Central Elementary School in Canonsburg, Lou Popiolkowski wrote our 3 charted singles for Calico Records. They were: Everytime We Kiss,Break The Glass, and Coming Home From School. As you can see, we were young. We had a lot of good times. The group broke up when education and work demands limited our time to perform. We have reunited a few times for very special events. In the picture below, we performed in 2002 for the Canonsburg Bicentennial celebration.The Donnybrooks were honored to be included in the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in Sharon, PA in 2002.
