My New Single- Canonsburg

I've just started performing my new tribute to my hometown-Canonsburg.
Wherever I go, people always ask about where I live or where I am from. Critics have written," there must be something in the Canonsburg drinking water. Bobby Shawn follows in the tradition that produced Canonsburg's Perry Como, Bobby Vinton, the Four Coins, and many other singers and musicians; who performed in the Pittsburgh area in their early years."
Perry Como and I after my performance
at the Hilton Inn during Adios Week
at the Meadows Race Track
(now called the Meadows Race Track and Casino).

Canonsburg was written for me to honor my hometown. Ken Cisson wrote the song with my collaboration. I introduced Canonsburg to an audience of 5,000+ during my 4th of July performance at Canon-McMillan Stadium. It has become very popular in my shows, and I'm proud to sing about the hometown that I love! Due to requests I hope to have a CD out soon!

Wow, Bobby! How great to have met Perry Como and have him listening at one of your performances. Love the picture and the song. I really enjoy the song-Canonsburg. I heard you sing it at the park.

Hi, this is Bobby's other daughter, Kathy and I too would like to thank you on behalf of our entire family for your hard work and time you put into this awesome blog site. My father is a VERY gifted performer and is loved by all of his audiences "everywhere he goes". He has been a very well-kept secret in Canonsburg for a long time....thank you for letting this great secret out!

Hi Bobby:

You just performed at Manor Care, McMurray, for my parents' 50th Anniversary party. It was perfect; classy, entertaining, professional. And you even let me sing with you!!

Your new single is great; thank you for performing it for my parents. You made a lot of people very happy. Thank you again for what you do and best regards!
